Centre for Business and Society (CBS) at Suleman Dawood School of Business, LUMS hosted its Annual Christmas Event on December 22, 2025 to celebrate LUMS' janitorial staff and to share the joy of the festive season with their families. Rooted in CBS’s commitment to inclusion, dignity, and community well-being, the event brought together the staff members, their children, and the CBS team in a festive and celebratory setting.
The evening was opened with a welcome note by Dr. Misbah Tanveer (Director, CBS) who extended a warm greeting to the audience. The event included a lively talent show which featured performances from the families, that added joy and laughter to the gathering. A magic show further delighted the young audience, creating moments of wonder and excitement for families. The celebrations continued with a Christmas-themed cake cutting led by Dr. Adeel Zafar (Dean, SDSB-LUMS), symbolising togetherness and shared joy, followed by the distribution of goodie bags for the children.
Through this annual tradition, CBS reaffirms its dedication to fostering a culture of care and appreciation, recognising the essential role played by janitorial staff in the life of the LUMS community. The event served as a heartfelt reminder of the spirit of community, one of gratitude, generosity, and harmony.
