CBS, at SDSB-LUMS re-launched the second volume of its flagship research grant programme titled ‘Fund 4 Impact’
Under this programme, CBS disburses a ceiling of PKR 100,000 each to the selected students from the current Graduate and Post Graduate programmes at LUMS, as a means to support their research/work.
In return, CBS will attain intellectual property rights on their outputs, and will publish their work(s) on the centre’s online platforms. The selected candidates will also be interviewed by CBS for a video to discuss about their research, which will also be published on the centre’s website.
CBS selected students exploring pertinent research issues that relate to one (or more) of the 17 sustainable development goals, particularly those relating to the domains of 1. Health, 2. Education, 3. Environment Sustainability and 4. Gender Equality. The student’s research/project is to be driven by the purpose of ‘sustainable impact’.
The centre selected four winners from across the LUMS student community in the Fall Semester of 2023.
