CBS-LUMS housed at SDSB,LUMS along with WEConnect International, and State Department, S&P Global, Texas A&M, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Pakistan Business Council is organizing a one-day, virtual convening of the US-Pakistan Think Big Summit in March 2023.
As a part of the collaborative event, CBS is organizing a Poster Competition. The competition will invite all the students currently enrolled at LUMS, to design a poster on the following theme: The Gendered Impacts of Covid-19: Keeping Women at the Heart of a Post-Pandemic Economy.
Each poster will illustrate analysis of the female labor force participation in a specific industry in Pakistan in both pre and post Covid ecosystems, the factors contributing to the identified trend(s), and viable policy recommendations. Winners will be recognized at the end of the conference and will be awarded with certificates.
Following are the guidelines:
- The competition is open to the current students enrolled in LUMS
- The title of the poster should clearly mention the specific industry it has chosen for its analysis
- Each poster submission should present all key information, facts, and figures relevant to the given topic, in a visual manner, with the help of headings, charts, images, etc
- Each submission should not exceed a single page
- Font should be single-spaced and at 12 point
- Information should be accurate, brief and concise
- Each submission should be easy to read and visually appealing
- Use of bold text, graphics and tables are encouraged for call-to-action items
- Deadline for Submission: 26th February 2023
- Each submission should entail a clear section on policy recommendations and a discussion on a viable way forward
