3rd Annual Photography Competition "Click for Change, 2022-23"
Inter-University Competition
CBS, LUMS in collaboration with LUMS Photographic Society officially launched its 3rd Annual Photography Competition “Click for Change 2022-23”. Following two very successful cycles in 2019 and 2021, this year CBS launched the competition as an “Inter-University Competition”, across all universities in Pakistan.
Each year the theme of the competition is rooted in the essence of a UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Thus, this cycle drew its focus from SDG 16: “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”.
The theme of Click for Change 2022-23 is “How do you envision peace and tolerance in today’s society?”. The competition featured two categories: 1) Photography, 2) Digital Arts. A total of six winners were chosen from 34 submissions received across both categories.
Three winners were chosen from each category by our esteemed panel of judges that featured: Dr. Zebbunisa Hamid (Assistant Professor, MGSHSS-LUMS), Dr. Aurangzeb Haneef (Assistant Professor, MGSHSS-LUMS) and Rabbania Shirjeel (Photographer, Visual Artist and Founder of Tasweer Ghar)
