The CBS Social Impact Fund 2021 was a student competition held in Spring Semester 2021. CBS invited students with innovative and impactful social projects and ideas to apply and get an opportunity to win seed money to further expand their projects/ideas. The objective of this competition was to engage the students of LUMS and encourage innovative thinking for impactful social change.
CBS suggested the following ways to utilize the seed money:
- Increase the impact of the project
- Increase scalability of the project
- Increase the geographic spread of the project by expanding to new regions and areas
- Introduction of a new aspect to the current model to address the challenges posed by the pandemic
After a thorough review of the entries, CBS’ panel of expert judges selected the following projects:
