Sustainability Webinar: The Climate Crisis and Our Future

On July 15, 2021, CBS organized a critical conversation titled "The Climate Crisis and Our Future" with Mr. Ahmed Rafay Alam, an expert in Environmental Law and Mr. Uzair Kayani, Acting Head of the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law. The discussion revolved around how the climate crisis has affected our ecosystem.

During the session, Mr. Rafay Alam made a presentation with clear examples of how the climate crisis is impacting individual lives, including animal lives. His presentation also touched on cross-cutting themes of class and social systems as causes for the crisis, imminent threats and possible ways forward. CBS’s main goal behind organizing this webinar series was to localize knowledge regarding this critical topic and encourage immediate action on a personal as well as system-wide level.
