The experience of personal Selling and Negotiations at Packages Ltd., provided me deep insights into interpersonal skills and the behaviour of different products under changing conditions. Marketing of FMCGs gave me an understanding of consumers’ buying decisions. Managing companies from the top allowed me to understand the factors that contributed to high Industrial Performance, Operational Efficiencies, Quality, and Effective deployment of Human Resources. I have been a Board member of companies in which I worked from 1994 to 2022.
To learn the Imperatives of General Management I went to the IMD school Lausanne’s (PED) program. Later on going to Harvard Business School in their (AMP) program was a great learning experience for managing the Risk and Opportunities that businesses face and the necessity of developing a Competitive Edge in business to keep ahead of competition. I also thoroughly enjoyed and learnt from discussions with my classmates from all over the world that provided different Ideas and Perspectives on several issues highlighted in case studies.
Personally, I am an ENTJ (Myers Briggs) who places emphasis on Intuitive Thinking and taking Action at the right time.
I have a wonderful wife and four grown up children for whom I had ensured that they grow up as free thinkers without being encaged in any form of inherited or pre conceived beliefs. I have enjoyed Photography as my hobby and am always trying to learn as to how I can express some value in photos that transcend the image itself.

Working in Packages Limited was a great experience in managing the supply chain to deliver just in time, zero defect packaging materials to hundreds of FMCG customers. I played a strong role in revolutionising Productivity and Quality enhancing processes.
