Hailing from Bagh, Azad Kashmir, I recently completed my PhD in Political Science from Georgia State University. Before joining LUMS, I taught at Georgia State University and the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. My research and teaching interests center on theorizing international politics, with a particular focus on great power politics and the foreign policy of middle powers.
Research Interests:
My research interests lie in international security and the foreign policies of middle powers, with a regional focus on the Middle East, particularly Turkey and Iran. In addition, I explore international relations from a civilizational perspective, examining how alternative civilizational experiences reshape our understanding of global politics.
