Ms. Maira Mumtaz is an LL.M. graduate and an Advocate of the High Court with over eight years of extensive professional experience. She has litigated in matters pertaining to criminal and family law, with a primary focus on human rights advocacy. At LUMS, her teaching approach emphasizes practical legal skills and innovative pedagogical methods. She maintains a keen interest in research on the criminal justice system, human rights law, family law, and prison reforms. In addition, she has been actively involved in the pro bono representation of vulnerable communities and in advancing clinical legal education at LUMS.
